yup, you do have a point! it is quite trivial though i suppose, as we as humans love to give a tag to everything in order to make it more digestable and acceptable and a reason for everything, heh. as much as we would want to not stereotype, there are still millions out there who will still speculate about who's the top and who's the bottom in a relationship. :P

"Top" and "Bottom" should only be looked from the perspective of being penetrated or being the penetrator in anal sex. Versatile should only be viewed as one who is willing to do both. Being a "Top" or a "Bottom" or "Versatile" is only about what type of sex one likes to do in bed period.

I know effeminate drag queens who are exclusive tops and body builder muscle guys who are exclusive bottoms. I know a hard core, steely eyed business man, who works with million dollar accounts, who won't do anything but bottom and a soft spoken art teacher who does nothing but top.

What a gay couple does together in bed is nobody else's business. The fact they love each other and take care of each other is all that matters. Only shallow people, who live their lives vicariously through others, speculate about who in a relationship is the "top" and the "bottom" or what "they" do in bed.
