Youth For Change Carnival 2009
October 29, 2009 | 11:05 am ShareAs I quote from the P1 Wimax commercial(“SUDAH POTONG??!”) with a certain twist…
“SUDAH SIGN??!”
Politics and social issues is the least discussed topic among people my age group. But in fact, we are the most powerful force among Malaysian demographics to make a change, if we want to.
Thus, Youth For Change Carnival is here. Come join the fun, listen to music, shop and play, and find out why you should register as a voter!
Date: 7th November 2009, Saturday
Time: 12pm onwards
Venue: Rainforest, Lower Ground, New Wing One Utama
While I myself read the newspapers everyday as comic strips, I’m sure we can make a difference if we all stand together to fight for a better future for we Malaysians. No more comics, we want real news, real achievements, something real to be really proud of being a Malaysian!
So if you’re with me, come join the fun while you register as a voter. No long waits, no dull white office spaces, no boring attendants that never smile.
If the Youth for Change event can be held at One Utama New Wing, then you can ensure that it’s gonna be big.
“With performances by top Malaysian independent musicians such as Bittersweet, Couple, Seven Collar T-Shirt, Liyana Fizi, Robot Asmara, Reza Salleh, Ika and many more, the Youth For Change Carnival aims to draw in thousands of youths from around the Klang Valley. At the carnival, those who have yet to register to vote will be able to do so easily at attractively designed booths, while standing a chance to win numerous prizes as well as freebies.
In addition to live music, the Youth For Change Carnival will also feature a mini flea market showcasing creative fashion and art by young designers. As part of the day’s festivities, short films made by young Malaysian filmmakers will be screened, including the popular 15Malaysia shorts that have been a hit on the Internet. Popular young actors, musicians, artists and bloggers will also be meeting their fans at the carnival.”
Yes, it’s a carnival indeed! If you’re really not into the politics, why not turn up just for the fun?

when it comes to political topics, we are always the group that jump to accuse them for not taking better care of us. XD can’t help it i guess, while they were busy convincing us, saying one thing yet doing another. eventually us (yes, the most powerful group) lost our confidence in them. this is definitely one of the very few meaningful event to join! =)
